The research projects of the cluster „RFID-techniques in the building industry “(ARGE RFIDimBau) are concerned with long-term, sustainable quality improvement and cost optimization of buildings. Along the added value chain of the building and real estate economy for process optimization, new IT- as well as auto-ID-supported methods are developed for capturing, controlling, regulation and documentation of processes real time and without medium-break. The utilization RFID-technology is one focus.

The topics worked on in the single projects are closed in themselves, but however, in practice of building processes they usually depend on each other. Due to co-operation in the ARGE RFIDimBau, synergies result and crosslinking-solutions could to be found.

The ARGE RFIDimBau was founded in 2006 and is open for further partners bringing new topics and new ideas.
